About Me
I cherish life by pursuing what I love most,
with travelling and entrepreneurship at the
top of my list. I’ve always embraced my free
spirit and intend to live that way forever.
Despite describing myself as a “village boy” to
appeal to Westerners, I actually hail from a
middle-class urban family.

I was born in the city, grew up in the city, went to school the city, and immersed myself in its vibrant
life, though I have a deep attachment to my ancestral home where I schooled briefly.My parents,
both descendants of chiefs, met in their youth and pursued education at College in Mbale during
Uganda’s independence era.My father later joined the army in Moroto, while my mother, an early
childhood development specialist and primary school teacher, dedicated herself to the teaching
profession, rising through the ranks to head several primary schools for over three decades until her
retirement in 2008.

I was born years later in the picturesque city of Jinja, where my father served as an
Education Officer at Magamaga Army Barracks.In 2017, my beloved mother passed
away while I was in Australia, leaving a void I keenly feel. My father, now almost 90, is
my best friend, and we often share laughs over pork and beer.Despite my urban and
international experiences, I remain deeply rooted in tradition, valuing culture, family, and
respect for my elders and ancestors. I consider myself fortunate to be African and
cherish every aspect of my heritage.
